Sauna for Apartment Use: Will a Compact Infrared Sauna Fit?

Interior width decides comfort; exterior width and the path in decide whether it reaches the room. Power decides whether you can run it. This page gathers all three from what makers and sellers publish, and names the gaps.

Interiors, drawn to one scale

Every cabin here is sold as two-person. The published interiors differ by several inches in width and depth — that is the difference between elbow room and touching shoulders.

Published exterior width and depth for the models that state one. The LTCCDSS exterior is about 10 inches wider than the Coronado. Coronado's exterior is maker page-published; LTCCDSS's comes from the Amazon seller page (no maker spec was obtained). DAIMOT 1990W publishes no exterior size.

Power

Electrical specs for the same 5 models

Where the source does not publish a plug or amperage, the row says so instead of guessing. Across the 61 cabins we checked, 23 publish a voltage — 20 list 120V (some as a 110–120V range), 2 list only 110V, 0 list 240V — and published wattage runs 1200W to 2100W.

Measure first

Measure and check before you shortlist

Space and access

  • Floor space. Exterior width and depth, plus room to open the door and step in.
  • The path in. Doorway and hallway width, stair turns and lift size if the cabin arrives boxed.
  • Ceiling height. The published exteriors are about 75–81 in tall. We have no checked figure for the clearance needed above the cabin.
  • Door opening and seat depth. We do not have checked figures for these. Ask the seller for the net opening and bench depth.

Power and circuit

  • Find the outlet you would use and note what else is on that breaker.
  • If the listing does not publish amperage, plug type or circuit requirement, ask the seller in writing.
  • Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit before installation.

Conditions the sources state

  • Indoor use on a dry, level surface (stated in the maker manuals).
  • Not on carpet, for at least one seller-page model.
  • Do not use it below roughly 60°F in the surrounding room, per the manual’s stated limits.

We publish what the sources say. We do not provide wiring or installation instructions.
